After returning to Japan in 2009, I have remained an active member of the Ryu Art Group, working at the group's office and organising exhibitions and other cultural events. I also teach at a local art college, which has been very rewarding. Every two years I get to go back to Northumbria University with a group of Japanese students, where I teach the Japanese Summer School. At present, I have a lovely studio space in my home town Kagawa where I can continue working on my artistic practice. An example of my current work is shown in this exhibition.
